The woman was allegedly Anamaria Vartolomei, a French-Romanian actress. There were also claims that the two were seen returning to the hotel together. I was shocked when I saw this on my feed. I really never fathomed Timmy ever doing that to the Kylie Jenner.

The framing of the clip looked extremely suspicious and messy

However, what if I told you that none of it was actually accurate?

Within three minutes of doing my own research on TikTok, I found the full video, and the
cropped image circulating online had been taken completely out of context. He was not leaving alone with her, but rather walking out with a group of friends. The narrative that formed from that single image was built entirely on selective framing.

As for him returning back to the hotel with her, also not true. There is footage of him returning alone, but if someone does not take the time to look for that video, they will likely continue believing the original storyline and apply it to any future mention of him.

This is how easily a false narrative can be created.

The media, and especially social media, often interprets bits of information through whatever framing surrounds them, and the same pattern has played out in Timothée and Kylie’s relationship.

Take his Grammy speech, for example. (Yes, the same event he used her BBL to get
out of his chair). Some people framed the mention of Kylie at the end of his speech as
performative, while others saw it as completely wholesome and genuine.

The declaration of love felt unexpected in contrast to the relatively long stretch of silence
surrounding the couple and their status following cheating allegations at the end of last year. Some viewers described the speech as “crafted,” a word that suggests preparation rather than emotion taking over in the heat of the moment. In that framing, it seemed as though he was attempting to control the narrative strategically and quiet the noise surrounding their relationship.

To some, that even bordered on manipulation

Yet others interpreted the exact same moment as a genuine act of love and affection.

Regardless of whether it was planned or spontaneous, many people loved the public expression of appreciation. Comments flooded in from fans saying things like, “I’m crying, I am so glad he thanked her,” and “I love this for both of them.”

Heart emoji after heart emoji filled the replies. Some people are not even entertaining the idea that his words were performative and are simply happy to see them supporting each other.

The bottom line is that framing, especially when it comes to Kylie and Timothée’s relationship, heavily influences how we perceive information. We will never know the full reality of their relationship, and we can only interpret the bits and pieces we are shown within the context they are presented to us.
